Hot on the heels of its most successful famil campaign to date, Brisbane Marketing is launching a fresh new famil campaign to lure more meeting planners to Australia’s new world city. The This is Brisbane campaign – to be launched in early July – will invite Australian meeting planners and event organisers to register online at www.meetinbrisbane.com.au for their chance to experience some of Brisbane’s best business events product. Brisbane Marketing Director Business Events, Ms Annabel Sullivan, said the famil campaign would build on the results of the recent Make Brisbane Yours campaign. “Our Make Brisbane Yours campaign was immensely successful, attracting almost 300 online registrations and excellent participant feedback,” said Ms Sullivan. “It’s clear that there’s strong demand for our familiarisations, so in the new financial year we’re upping the ante and extending the program to run throughout the entire year.” Ms Sullivan said Brisbane Marketing had partnered with 26 businesses to deliver the This is Brisbane campaign. “Brisbane’s business events community has really come together for this campaign and with their support we’ll be delivering famil itineraries with great depth and diversity.” Post famil feedback spanning the last financial year showed Brisbane famil participants enjoyed an average overall famil satisfaction rating of 9.2 out of 10 and an average rating of 9.5 out of 10 for the Bureau’s organisation of the familiarisation.
